2/5/20 -US Capitol -Washington, DC. President Donald J. Trump delivers his State of The Union Address to the nation during the midst of his impeachment trial. During his speech, the President had the First Lady award Radio Talk Show Host Rush Limbaugh The Presidential Medal of Freedom.

I was fortunate to have a position for the 2020 State of The Union Address near the First Lady's Box.That State of the Union was by far the most exciting one I have ever covered. Surprises kept happening all evening. We were all amazed as the President announced that The First Lady would be awarding radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh the Presidential Medal of Freedom. This medal is the highest honor a citizen of the United States can receive from the President- for contributing to making America a better place. Limbaugh has stage four cancer and was not expected to live much longer.
