The unforgettable 1973 film "The Exorcist" steps, filmed on location in Georgetown, Washington, DC
At 5:30 a.m., stopped for fuel in Georgetown, near famed "The Exorcist" steps. I was born in Georgetown, and frightened by movie as a child. Interesting enough, the 97 steps, have recently become a historical landmark.

My childhood home in Garrett Park, Maryland
Grew up in first house build, 1898, in Garrett Park, Maryland. Town was named for John Work Garrett, who led B&O railroad for three decades, including American Civil War. House located 1/2 block from train station. Victorian era romance novelist Temple Bailey lived and wrote books in carriage house, behind main house. Even though moved away many years ago, house always in my heart and soul. My family owned home from 1930s-thru mid mid 1970s.
