Protesting on Connecticut Avenue NW outside the apartment building of the Postmaster General Louis DeJoy
The new Postmaster General, a political appointee and Republican Party donor, has made changes and created chaos in the postal service by removing sorting machines in post offices and mailboxes throughout the country. Many people see these moves as direct sabotage of the US Postal Service and the presidential election in the middle of a pandemic and in an election year. Protesters in front of the Postmaster General's apartment building brought noisemakers and were determined to be heard loud and clear.
